Every morning on BBC Radio 2, Ken Bruce hosts the nation's most challenging music quiz - PopMaster! Kite have developed an online version of this immensely popular institution for the BBC. The game can be played on the BBC web site, on Facebook and on mobile phones. It's a multiple choice pop quiz, and you have ten seconds to select the correct answer to each question. The faster you answer a question, the more points you score. You can challenge your friends and keep track of who's got the best pop knowledge.
We've developed 1200 tough pop trivia questions for the game and these can be easily managed using the admin system that powers the game from behind the scenes. The game supports image, audio and video questions that take advantage of the wealth of media in the BBC archive.
PopMaster is the first game to be built using the QuizMaster quiz creation platform that we've developed for the BBC. PopMaster has Flash, Ajax, J2ME, iPhone and Android specific versions.
